U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to visit Saudi Arabia in March

U.S. State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement today that Secretary of State John Kerry will visit several countries, including Saudi Arabia, during a tour lasting from February 24 to March 6. This will be Kerry’s first foreign trip as Secretary of State. He will also visit Britain, Germany, France, Turkey, Italy, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Nuland stated that during his visit to Riyadh, Kerry will confer with Saudi officials and participate in a ministerial meeting with his counterparts from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
