US Consulate in Dhahran to offer visa services beginning in May

February 20, 2008

The US consulate in Dhahran will offer full non-immigrant visa services beginning in May, US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ford M. Fraker announced February 18.

The move is expected to facilitate business as well as tourism and allow a greater number of Saudi students to study in the United States, according to the website of the Consulate General in Dhahran.

To apply for a visa in Dhahran, applicants must complete an online application and then request an interview appointment date online at the consulate’s website.  Visa services will be offered in the morning on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays beginning May 3, 2008.
