King lays foundation stones for KSU projects

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for a group of construction projects at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh today.


The projects include a University City for female students, completion of a Medical City, housing for teaching staff, a group of male student college buildings, the first phase of the KSU Endowment Project and the Riyadh Techno Valley (RTV), at a total cost of SR 14,039,000,000 [$3.7 billion].

The King toured the sites accompanied by KSU Director Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, who briefed him on the latest project developments.

Al Othman thanked the King for his support of education and science, declaring, "This is a historic day for KSU – a day which witnesses the establishment of strategic projects that will serve citizens, as well as education, research and society at large."
