February 7, 2014
Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla recently delivered 10,000 heads of sacrificial sheep meat to a representative of the Sudanese Social Welfare and Security Ministry, in the presence of officials of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The food will be distributed to orphans and other needy people in the Sudan, through a network of communities across villages and towns. The delivery is part of the Kingdom’s wider program of donating sacrificial Hajj meat to numerous countries.
