Royal Saudi Air Force to join air combat exercise in Nevada

The Royal Saudi Air Force will participate in the Red Flag air combat training exercise at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.


The Saudi planes arrived at Nellis yesterday for the exercise with the approval of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise involving the air forces of the United States and its allies, and is conducted on the Nevada Test and Training Range, north of Las Vegas. Red Flag is one of a series of advanced training programs administered by the US Air Force Warfare Center and Nellis through the 414th Combat Training Squadron.
