Interior Ministry releases second statement on suspects in Eastern Province violence

Following up a statement released yesterday announcing the issuance of arrest warrants for 23 men wanted for various offences in Eastern Province, Interior Ministry Spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki reported today that three of the suspects have turned themselves in to authorities and two more have been arrested. The 23 men are accused of a number of crimes, including the killing and wounding of security forces and citizens. The suspects who surrendered have been identified as Hussein Ali Abdullah Al-Braki, Shah Ali Issa Al-Shukan and Musa Jafar Mohammad Al-Mabiouq. Maj. Gen. Al-Turki stressed that their cooperation will be taken into account during the prosecution of their cases, and urged the other fugitives to turn themselves in as well.
