November 6, 2008

Two Saudi cargo planes carrying 29 tons of relief supplies arrived at Pakistan’s Quetta Samungli Airbase today.

The cargo, which includes food, medicine, tents and blankets, is intended to aid victims of a recent earthquake in Baluchistan province.

The Saudi airlift began November 1. The Ministry of Finance has set aside 100 tons of relief supplies to be delivered to Pakistan.
