Interior ministers of Iraq’s neighbors meet in Amman

The interior ministers of Iraq’s neighboring countries met in Amman, Jordan today to discuss the situation in Iraq.

 

The Saudi delegation to the meeting was led by Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz.

In remarks to the press, Prince Nayef said that the meeting had been a successful one. He stressed that all of Iraq’s neighboring countries want to see a stable, secure Iraq and expressed the hope that all political, social and development efforts would bring the security that the people of Iraq desire.

Prince Nayef also reiterated the Kingdom’s support for all efforts that aim to achieve prosperity and unity there.
