A Royal Decree was issued today appointing Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud as adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the rank of minister.
Prince Abdul-Ilah also serves as a member of the Allegiance Commission, which was established as part of a new law of succession announced in October 2006 to formalize the royal succession and ensure a smooth transfer of power.
