King Abdullah meets with Qatari prime minister

September 20, 2008

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem Al-Thani at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah today.

The Saudi-Qatari talks addressed various regional and international issues. In March 2008, Crown Prince Sultan paid a three-day state visit to Qatar that opened a new chapter in relations between the two countries.

Tomorrow, King Abdullah will hold talks with Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The two leaders are expected to address regional and international issues as well as ways of enhancing bilateral relations.
