Saudi Arabia allocates $75.5 million in emergency famine relief for Somalia

Minister of Interior Prince Mohammad bin Nayef bin Abdulziz, in his capacity as General Supervisor of the Saudi National Campaign for the Relief of the Somali People, has allocated SR 271,875,000 ($72.5 million) in emergency relief programs for the victims of famine in Somalia.  The relief will be provided under a joint cooperation agreement which was signed in Riyadh on Saturday between the campaign and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
