AGFUND launches microfinance bank in Africa to support the poor

The Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), chaired by Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, announced in Riyadh today the launching of its first microfinance Ebdaa Bank outside the Arab world. The bank will be established in Freetown, Sierra Leon and provide micro-financial services to low-income individuals to help lift themselves out of poverty.
