1.8 million pilgrims arrived for Hajj

Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee, said in a letter to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz today that 1,799,601 pilgrims from 181 countries came from abroad for the rituals, 180,746 more than in the previous year.  Of the foreign pilgrims, 54% are male and 46% female.
