Foreign leaders visit the Kingdom to offer their condolences

Dignitaries from around the world have converged upon the Kingdom over the past few days to offer their condolences on the death of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who passed away on October 22. Those who have led delegations to Riyadh and paid their respects to the family of the late Crown Prince include U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden; Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa; Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan; Iraqi President Jalal Talabani; Lebanese President General Michael Suleiman; Libyan Transitional National Council (TNC) Chief Mustafa Abdel Jalil; Russian Presidential Envoy and President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov; British Heir Apparent Prince Charles; Danish Prince Henrik; Japanese Crown Prince Naruhito; Spanish Crown Prince Felipe Juan Pablo; Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; French Defense Minister Gerard Longuet; UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan; Finnish Minister of Defense Steven Whalen; and Chinese Minister of Civil Affairs Li Liguo.
