Mauritania and IDB sign two loan agreements

Mauritania’s Minister of Economic Affairs Wild Al-Tah Basem signed two loan agreements worth $58 million today with the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The first loan will finance a potable water project in the Eastern Aftoot region. The second loan will fund the 83-km long Tajkaja-Keefat-Silbani road, which will better connect distant regions of the country.
