Saudi pilots to train at U.S. university

The Director General of the Saudi Border Guards, Maj. Gen. Zamim bin Juwaiber Al-Sawat, and the Dean of the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota, Bruce Smith, signed a contract on September 25 for the training of 30 Saudi pilots at the American university. In a statement, Maj. Gen. Al-Sawat said that the signing of the contract reflects the intention of the Saudi government to develop its aerospace sector and to keep pace with the advanced technologies that are used to monitor the Kingdom’s borders.
