Prince Saud Al-Faisal and U.S. Secretary of State hold meeting

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who is currently leading the Saudi delegation to the opening of the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held a meeting at his residence in New York yesterday with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, regional and international issues, and the upcoming agenda of the General Assembly.
Prince Saud has held consultations with a number of foreign officials since his arrival in New York. He met today with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah Al-Thani, King Abdullah II of Jordan, British Foreign Minister William Hague, Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store, and Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi.
Prince Saud also attended a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), during which they coordinated their positions on various issues on the U.N. agenda.
