30 doctors from King Faisal Hospital arrive in Pakistan

Following the directives of Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki, the International Organization for Intercontinental Doctors, an affiliate of the MWL, sent a team of 30 doctors from the King Faisal Specialist Hospital to help flood victims in Pakistan. The team is working in Multan, the largest city in Pakistan’s northern Punjab, according to a report published by the Saudi Gazette. The doctors are coordinating their efforts with authorities in charge of relief work in Punjab, the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, and the MWL Relief Office in Pakistan. According Regional Director of the MWL Office in Pakistan Abdo Al-Ghadeer, the Saudi medical team brought along large quantities of medicine and insecticide, water filters, which will provide clean water to 15,000 people a day, and pumps to remove stagnant water.
