Over 3 million Umrah pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom for this Umrah season

Despite world-wide fear of the H1N1 (swine flu), over 3 million Umrah pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom from all over the world for this Umrah season, with 900,000 pilgrims arriving by air, according to Muhammad Al-Bijawi, head of the Hajj Ministry branch in Medinah,
Saudi Gazette reported today. An estimated 700,000 worshippers are expected to perform the Friday prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medinah, the last Friday of Ramadan.
