Al-Assaf: Arabs states working on creating Greater Arab Free Trade Zone

Saudi Finance Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, the currently chairman of the 82nd session of the Arab Economic and Social Council meeting in Cairo, told a press conference that the agenda of the meeting will focus on greater economic development in the Arab world.  Dr. Al-Assaf said that the most prominent topics discussed by Arab finance ministers were the preparations for the upcoming the Arab, Economic Developmental and Social Summit to be held in Kuwait on January 19 -20, 2009, and the creation of the Greater Arab Free Trade Zone to boost inter-Arab trade.
