King Abdullah travels to Casablanca

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz departed Jeddah today for a personal trip to Morocco. Before leaving, the King issued a royal order deputizing Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz to administer the state’s affairs and to take care of the interests of the people during his absence.

Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, King Abdullah was received by Moroccan Minister of State Abdullah Baha; Deputy Governor of Casablanca Karim Al-Hilu; Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Bishr; a number of senior Moroccan officials; and staff members of the Saudi Embassy. Following the reception, the King was accompanied by the Moroccan Minister of State to his residence in an official procession.

The delegation accompanying the King includes Prince Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer; Special Envoy Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; Education Minister Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed; Advisor to the King Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed; Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Advisor to the King Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz; Advisor to the King Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed; Prince Mansour bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Majed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf; and a number of other senior officials.
