Prince Saud chairs Arab foreign minister’s meeting on Syria

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal chaired the meeting the Arab foreign ministers of the International Contact Group on Syria in Jeddah today. The meeting was held to discuss the overall situation in the region and latest developments in Syria. The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministers Sameh Shoukry of Egypt, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Khalid Al-Attiyah of Qatar, and Ambassador Nawaf Al-Tell, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan.
The ministers discussed regional challenges and the growth of extremist and terrorist ideology and their serious consequences on the countries of the region and the international peace and security. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in Syria.
