King Abdullah receives King of Jordan

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at his palace in Jeddah yesterday evening visiting King Abdullah II of Jordan. At the outset of the audience, the Saudi King welcomed the Jordanian monarch, who, for his part, expressed pleasure at visiting the Kingdom. Subsequently, the two leaders discussed the overall international and regional situation, focusing particularly on efforts being exerted to halt the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The audience was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; Chief of General Intelligence Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of State Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban. The Jordanian side included Chief of the Hashemite Royal Court Dr. Fayez Al-Tarawneh; Director of the Monarch’s Office Imad Fakhoori; Advisor to the King and Rapporteur of National Policies Abdullah Warikat; Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh; Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Meshal Al-Zabin; Director of General Intelligence Gen. Faisal Al-Showbaki; and Jordanian Ambassador to the Kingdom Jamal Al-Shamaylah.
Later, Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz hosted a dinner party at his palace in Jeddah in honor of the Jordanian King and his delegation.
