IIRO provides medical services in Ghana

The Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of Muslim World League has provided medical services for poor and needy people in Accra, Ghana.  IIRO’s Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyib said that the health services included conducting 189 cataract surgeries, distributing 850 prescription glasses, and traocular lens implant for 188 patients.  The secretary-general said that these services come within the framework of the efforts made by the IIROto combat the phenomenon of blindness in poor countries.
