IIRO distributes 120,000 kilograms of food in Somalia

The Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL), recently distributed relief assistance to displaced people living in camps in the Somali capital of Mogadishu. The aid consisted of 120,000 kilograms [264,555 lbs] of various types of foodstuffs. According to the IIRO, the aid was provided to alleviate the tragic situation experienced by Somalis displaced by the ongoing civil war.
