Wanted man surrenders himself to authorities

August 4, 2011

A security spokesman at the Ministry of Interior reported that Abdul-Salam Abdulaziz Rashid Al-Faraj, who appears on a list of 47 men wanted by security authorities issued on January 9, 2011, has contacted his relatives and expressed a desire to return home and surrender. The spokesman said that arrangements will be made to facilitate Al-Faraj’s return to the Kingdom, where he will be treated in accordance with the applicable procedures. Noting that Faraj’s voluntary surrender will be taken into account when considering his fate, the spokesman reiterated the Interior Ministry’s call for all wanted suspects to do the sensible thing and turn themselves in.
