Saudi Customs Department wins international award

The Saudi Customs Department, an affiliate of the Ministry of Finance, was awarded the International Customs Organization’s prize for 2009 for its efforts to fight trade violations and to protect intellectual property. The customs departments of Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, Macedonia and Belgium were announced co-winners of the annual prize at the 174-member organization’s meeting held in Brussels from June 24-27.
