Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting in Jeddah today.
King Abdullah opened the meeting by briefing the Cabinet on his recent consultations with world leaders and their envoys. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to boost relations with countries around the world, foster Arab unity and safeguard its national interests.
In honor of the third anniversary of King Abdullah’s reign, the Cabinet reviewed Saudi Arabia’s domestic and foreign policies over the past three years. It highlighted the King’s vision, which incorporates the following elements:
The Cabinet urged government departments, social institutions, the media, intellectuals and social activists to incorporate the King’s vision on all levels.
In addition, the Cabinet approved a number of procedures for governmental organizations to follow during the Hajj as well as a civil air transport agreement with China.
