Royal order annexes Cabinet Presidency Court to Royal Court

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued an order today merging the Presidency of the Cabinet with the Royal Court. The order also stipulated the formation of a panel, to be presided over by the President of the Royal Court, to introduce the required amendments to the Cabinet Regulation, specifying that the panel should submit its report within six months to the King. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri was appointed to the position of President of the Royal Court and the Private Secretary of the King, at the ministerial rank. He has been asked to submit his nominations for the leading positions in the Royal Court to the King.
