Saudi Campaign distributes more rent checks to Syrians in Lebanon

The Saudi National Campaign to Support the Brothers in Syria has continued its program of providing rent money for displaced Syrians in Lebanon, completing its eighth leg of distribution today. In a statement, the Director of the Campaign’s Beirut Office, Walid Al-Jalal, said that 85 checks have been distributed to 85 Syrian refugee families in Tripoli at a total cost of $69,000. He noted that the Campaign will provide additional aid in the Akkar and Baalbek regions. Furthermore, it is preparing for the distribution of 100,000 fast breaking meals and 150 tons of dates as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Syrian refugees during the holy month of Ramadan.
