Crown Prince Salman receives officials from around the world

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today a number of foreign officials offering their condolences on the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz and congratulating him on his new position. They included Belgian Crown Prince Philippe; Japanese Crown Prince Naruhito; Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi; Filipino Vice President Jejomar C. Binay; French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian; Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay; Ethiopian Defense Minister Siraj Fegeisa; Bosnian Defense Minister Mohammed Ibrahimovic and Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Stefan de Mistura.

The previous day, Crown Prince Salman received Britain’s Prince Andrew; Guinean Vice President Othman Bah; Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip; Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Shemen Zsolt; Grand Mufti of Egypt Dr. Ali Gomaa; Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Ahmed Al-Sadoun; Speaker of the Egyptian Shoura Council Dr. Ahmed Fahmi; President of the Iraqi House of Representatives Osama Najafi; Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress Ismail Tello; Ethiopian Defense Minister Siraj Fegesa; German Interior Minister Hans-Peter; Kosovo Internal Affairs Minister Bajram Rexhepi; and former Lebanese Prime Ministers Fouad Siniora and Saad Hariri.

On Monday, the Crown Prince was visited by Qatari Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa; Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Indonesian Minister of Interior Gama wan Fawzi; Ukrainian Defense Minister Dmitry Salamtin; Libyan First Deputy Prime Minister Mustafa Abu Shaqor; First Deputy Chairman of the Libyan National Council Dr. Mustafa Al-Hooni; Nigerian Defense Minister Bello Mohammed; Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri; and Korean Minister of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Do-Youp Kwon.
