King Abdullah discusses key regional issues with Jordanian ruler

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in Jeddah today. The Jordanian monarch arrived in Jeddah earlier today for a one-day visit to the Kingdom.

After a red-carpet welcome at the King Abdulaziz International Airport, the two leaders held official talks at the royal palace in Jeddah. They discussed developments in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq in addition to other international issues and ways to boost bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Allegiance Commission Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal.

The Jordanian delegation to the talks included Prime Minister Nader Al-Dahabi, Chief of the Royal Dourt Dr. Basim Awadallah, Royal Advisor for Tribal Affairs Al-Sharif Fawaz bin Zabin, Foreign Minister Dr. Salah Eddin Al-Bashir, Director-General of General Intelligence Lt. Gen. Mohammad Al-Dahabi and Director of Information and Communication Amjad Al-Adhaylh.

Before departing the Kingdom, King Abdullah of Jordan attended a luncheon hosted in his honor by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
