Saudi Arabia provides relief aid to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon

June 14, 2008

Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz has directed the Saudi Popular Campaign for the Relief of the Lebanese People to provide medicines and medical supplies to the Nahr Al-Bared and Beddawi refugee camps in Lebanon.

The relief aid, worth $1 million (SR 3.75 million), is in line with Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians living in the refugee camps. In 2007, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz donated $10 million for distribution to the residents of the camps.
