Saudi medical team performs heart surgeries in Yemen

A Saudi medical team conducted two heart surgeries at the Sana’a-based Saudi-German Hospital yesterday as part of a heart surgery program organized by the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO). Since the start of the program on Saturday, the Saudi doctors have performed more than fifteen operations and conducted over forty examinations. In the next few days, they are expected to perform an additional fifteen operations and eighty examinations. The Saudi team is composed of medical staff from the hospitals of the Saudi Armed Forces, the National Guard, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital.
