Saudi Arabia supports WFP in Bangladesh with 515 tons of dates

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided the UN World Food Program (WFP) with 515 tons of dates to promote the development of food programs in Bangladesh. The grant was delivered by Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Busairi during a ceremony attended by Bangladeshi Minister of Primary and Mass Education Afsarul Ameen. In a speech, Al-Busairi said that the dates are a gift from the Saudi people to the Bangladeshi people and part of the Kingdom’s program to provide aid to Islamic countries.
