King Abdullah meets with Quartet Middle East envoy Tony Blair

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with the Quartet’s Middle East envoy Tony Blair at the royal palace in Riyadh today.

They discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace settlement in the region.

In related news, King Abdullah discussed by telephone the latest developments in the region including Lebanon with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, King Hamad Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, King Abdullah II of Jordan and Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir.
