King launches development projects in Jubail

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz launched a number of developmental and industrial projects today in Jubail Industrial City.
Upon his arrival at the site, the King was received by Eastern Province Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz; President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) Prince Saud bin Thunayyan Al-Saud; and a number of other officials.
King Abdullah was briefed on the projects, which will be completed at a cost of approximately SR 54 billion [$14.4 billion]. They include the construction of a massive water and electricity producing plant, as well as the completion of many private sector basic industries projects.
