Crown Prince pays for hotel accommodation for all Saudis stranded in Britain
April 16, 2010
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz has ordered the arrangement of accommodations, at his own expense, of all Saudi passengers who have been unable to travel out of Britain. The spread of volcanic smoke coming from Iceland has blocked air navigation routes, leading to the abrupt closure of airports and cancellation of flights. In a statement issued yesterday, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz said that the Crown Prince has ordered the prompt housing in London hotels of all stranded Saudi nationals, adding that the embassy staff will spare no effort to carry out these instructions.
