President Nguyen meets with Saudi businessmen to increase trade, investments

The Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce today hosted a working luncheon for Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet and his delegation of senior officials and businessmen. During the meeting, President Nguyen invited Saudi businessmen to invest in his country and pledged to take measures to remove obstacles impeding Saudi investments in Vietnam.
The Council Saudi Chambers of Commerce announced that following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam “to strengthen and increase the volume of bilateral trade and investment activities between business organizations on both sides through the exchange of economic information on markets, production and trade opportunities and promote opportunities for partnerships between businessmen in the Kingdom and businessmen in Vietnam as well as offering two proposals that would improve the environment for economic cooperation.”
