King Abdullah holds talks with President Mubarak in Sharm El-Sheikh

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz arrived in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt today for talks with President Hosni Mubarak.

King Abdullah was accompanied by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Chief of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz.

During their meeting, King Abdullah and President Mubarak reviewed bilateral cooperation and Arab issues, in particular the situation in Palestine and the importance of reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The two leaders also discussed the political crisis in Lebanon and Arab efforts to reach a solution there, as well as the situation in Iraq.

In November 2007, King Abdullah visited Egypt for talks with President Mubarak as part of a 13-day official tour that included visits to Britain, Italy, Germany and Turkey.
