Arab Finance Ministers Council holds meeting in Syria

Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Al-Assaf led the Saudi delegation to the 2nd annual meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Finance in Damascus this evening. The session was presided over by Obaid Humaid Al-Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, and was attended by Arab economic officials and bank governors. During the meeting, the delegates discussed international financial issues of concern to the Arab world, as well as strategies for coordinating the positions of Arab countries towards both the International Monetary Bank (IMF) and the World Bank.
