IIRO team carries out eye surgeries for 1,000 patients in Nigeria

The Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL), has carried out successful eye operations for 1,000 patients suffering from blindness or visual impairment in Nigeria. The week-long clinic was organized by an IIRO team, consisting of Saudi medical staff, in Gombe state. In addition to the surgeries, the team examined, treated and provided medicines for more than 3,000 patients.
