Saudi Ambassador expresses condolences to Egyptian people following church attack

Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham Nazer yesterday expressed his condolences to the Egyptian Government, people and families of victims of the terrorist attack which took place in Alexandria.

During a symposium hosted by Cairo Cultural Salon last night on the future of Saudi-Egyptian relations, the Ambassador said that relationship is based on mutual respect and common interest.  The Ambassador pointed out that there are 1.4 million Egyptians living in Saudi Arabia and 400,000 Saudis live Egypt.  In addition, 400,000 Saudis visit Egypt every summer and more than 600,000 Egyptians travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah every year.
