Consultative Council's Contribution to National Development
Based on the Islamic concept of consulting men of experience and knowledge on affairs of the moment, the Majlis Al-Shura (Consultative Council) has played an important role in advising the King on a wide range of topics of national importance.

The Saudi Judicial System
Shari’ah (Islamic law) forms the basis of a judicial system that guarantees equality before the law for all Saudis and which has effectively dealt with the needs of the Kingdom and its people as Saudi Arabia has undergone tremendous development and progress.
