Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for talks in Cairo today. The King stopped in Egypt after concluding a 13-day official tour that included visits to Britain, Italy, Germany and Turkey.

During their meeting at the presidential palace in Cairo, King Abdullah briefed President Mubarak on his visits to the four abovementioned countries. They discussed Arab, Islamic and international issues, in particular the Middle East peace process. They also addressed the crisis in Lebanon surrounding the presidential elections, the situation in Iraq and areas of bilateral cooperation.
