Crown Prince Sultan: 72 Eurofighters to be delivered soon

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz said yesterday that 72 Eurofighter Typhoon airplanes would be delivered to the Kingdom very soon. Saudi Arabia announced in August 2006 that it had signed an agreement with Britain to purchase the military fighter jets.

Crown Prince Sultan made the remarks at the opening of the headquarters of the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Youth Development Program in Dammam.  He said the program would help young Saudi men and women develop skills.

The Crown Prince also said that a study is underway to expand Dammam’s King Fahd Airport and the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.
