Kingdom to provide $2 million in aid to Mauritania

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will donate $2 million to Mauritania in order to finance food, relief materials, and trucks to transport the aid.

The Saudi Embassy in Nouakchott said that the Finance Ministry, in cooperation with the World Food Program, has set a plan to deliver the aid to those in need.

Last year, the Kingdom donated $10 million in relief assistance to eight West African countries that were suffering from drought, including Mauritania.
