The Shura (Consultative) Council today praised Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz’s invitation to Palestinian leaders to meet in Makkah and discuss their differences. King Abdullah issued the invitation yesterday.

The Kingdom’s Grand Mufti Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-AsShaikh, who also chairs the Senior Commission of ulema (religious scholars), also welcomed King Abdullah’s invitation. In a statement today, the Grand Mufti urged Palestinians to remain steadfast on the right path and resolve their disagreements.
