The Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the murder of Saudi businessman Jamal Al-Khalifah in Madagascar in a statement today.

As soon as it received the news of Al-Khalifah’s death, the Ministry said it contacted authorities in Madagascar via the Saudi Embassy in Tanzania to request more information about the crime and those responsible.  In addition, the Kingdom requested the coroner’s report.

In the statement, the Foreign Ministry also extended its condolences to Al-Khalifah’s family and relatives.
