Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Awadh Asseri distributed over PKR 27 million [$445,000] to orphanages in Pakistan at a ceremony attended by senior Pakistani official, including Religious Affairs Minister Ijazul Haq.  Minister Haq said at the event that Saudi Arabia has always been extremely generous towards Pakistan and that the Kingdom extended hefty assistance to his nation following the October 2005 earthquake.
